An itinerary that will take you on a discovery of an unusual Jordan. U na saffron-colored and spicy-scented land. We will learn about true Jordanian hospitality, its most famous sites, but also its lesser-known aspects. From Jerash to the desert of Wadi Rum, we will visit the UNESCO site of Petra, which tells the story of the Nabataeans. The hilights of this itinerary are a visit to the Al Ma’wa sanctuary, a nature reserve that houses animals rescued from warring countries such as Palestine, Syria, and Iraq; Siq trail in Mujib Canyon; cooking class of Jordanian dishes with Chef; dinner with local family.

Departure by flight from Italy. Arrival at Amman airport, meet with our representative in the area before immigration with Etical Travel logo sign. He will facilitate visa and luggage procedure. Transfer to hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, departure for Jerash. Visit the Greco-Roman Decapolis among the most beautiful and best preserved in the Middle East. Continue to the Al Ma’wa sanctuary for a visit to the nature reserve that houses animals rescued from countries at War such as Palestine, Syria, Iraq etc…Return to Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Madaba (City of Mosaics). You will visit the Church of St. George where you can admire the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land and also family-run mosaic workshops. Continue to Mount Nebo from which Moses could see the promised land. Continuing south you will visit Mujib Canyon where you will make the Siq trail (Water Trail). Life jacket provided by the visitor center while rock shoes are recommended. Arrive in the evening in Dana for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit Dana Reserve with local guide. The excursion takes about 2 1/2 hours. At the end, transfer to Little Petra, an ancient Village carved entirely out of the rock. In Nabataean times it was used as a storage place for their trading caravans. At 6:30 p.m. your experience will begin at the Petra Kitchen where you will cook local dishes with the help of a Jordanian chef. Overnight at the facility.
After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to visiting Petra including the Siq, Treasury, Façade Road, Royal Tombs, The Theater the Great Temple, the Byzantine Church and the Girl’s Castle. Free afternoon at the site to devote to the high places such as the Sacrifice or the Monastery (900 steps). In the evening, dinner with local family in Petra. Overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the Wadi Rum desert where you will go on a 4-hour Jeep safari. Dinner and overnight stay in the tented camp inside the reserve.
After breakfast, transfer to the Dead Sea. Arrival at facility and free afternoon to devote to mud baths and relaxation at the lowest point on earth.
After breakfast, transfer to the Airport for departure.
