With a trip to Morocco one realizes that it is difficult to dribble through the clichés: the spices, the carpets, the dromedaries, the ubiquitous guides, the arabesques, the glasses of tea. But at the same time it is impossible not to be surprised and fascinated. In a trip to Morocco there is really everything, only it is better than expected.
Marrakech, “the millennial,” is one of Morocco’s most unique cities. The city’s charm lies above all in the pulsating life of its famous square, the Jemaa el Fna, in the narrow, colorful streets that make up the Medina and its souks, and in the mixture of races and ethnicities that meet there.
From here we set off on a journey through lesser-known territories, among the oases of the south of the country, once stations of the caravans of spices and gold, deserted tracks and Berber villages, on the traces of the past in the ksars, in the faces of the people, in the scents of spices, until we reach the dunes of Erg Chegaga where we will stay overnight in a tented camp, amid silence and starry skies, the Draa valley, with its endless palm grove, and finally the ocean and the Atlantic coast. A journey between history and nature, past and present.
