After an initial plunge into history that the city of Manaus will give you, you will be enraptured by the call of the jungle; rowing a canoe to photograph natural landscapes amidst flooded forests; observing the meeting of the Waters; dozing in a hammock aboard a boat that travels up the course of a river; sleeping and waking up in the jungle to the call of thousands of birds; dining with indigenous people around a fire and learning about their rituals are just some of the authentic Amazonian experiences you will have. It will remain indelible in your soul to visit the Caboclo (mixed Indian and European blood) communities, who populate the riverbanks and lead fascinating lives. You will understand that along the course of a river of immense size it is the little things that really count.

Arrive in Manaus, meet the guide and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and
City Tour of the city of Manaus. Visit the Largo de São Sebastião composed of historic buildings, the imposing Amazonas Theater, the São Sebastião Church, and the square with the Port Opening Monument symbolizing the opening to foreign shipping in the golden age of rubber. Inaugurated on December 31, 1896, the Theater surprises and enchants with its grandeur. Visit Marco Zero to discover where the city of Manaus was born, the first houses and the first square. Inside tour of the Palácio Rio Negro Cultural Center, it was built in an eclectic style, in 1903, to be the private residence of a wealthy rubber merchant. We will next visit the Adolpho Lisboa Market, also called the Municipal Market, is located on the banks of the Rio Negro. It is an important historical and architectural building in the city. The market is one of the largest open-air markets in the city of Manaus, offering fresh fruits, spices, fish, souvenirs, traditional indigenous medicines, etc.

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer by car to Porto da Ceasa, with a short visit to the Ceasa fish and fruit market. We will board a regional boat. We will follow the river trail to the Meeting of the Waters. Short stop to photograph the Encounter of the Negro and Solimões Rivers. Possibility to see pink dolphins in this region. Continuing the tour, we continue our journey to Vila do Careiro, from where we will depart by land to our destination. The trip will continue via river by motor boat. This part of the trip is a real adventure, we will continue along a beautiful trail through the Igarapés and Igapós . Arrival at the Lodge and accommodation. Typical lunch. In the afternoon we will take our first tour of the Lake Tracajá region, boarding a motorized canoe to contemplate the Amazon rainforest. We will have the opportunity to observe the Amazonian fauna and flora. Contemplation of a variety of birds. Return to the Lodge, dinner will be served with the best of Amazonian cuisine. Overnight stay.
Wake up early and depart for a motorized canoe trip to contemplate the sunrise, and watch birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Our experienced jungle guide will take us on a walk through dense forest trails, where you will have the opportunity to learn jungle survival techniques. You will gain knowledge about the vast biodiversity of the Mamori region. Your guide will be able to provide information on the Fauna and Flora of the region. Return to the lodge for lunch. Early afternoon departure by canoe for a tour inside Lake Tracajá for regional fishing for piranha and other fish of the region. Return to the lodge. After dinner we will go out to observe nocturnal animals and at the opportunity the guide will lead alligator spotting. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the lodge. The day will be devoted to visits to local communities. Visit to the home of the caboclos. Learn about the traditions and culture of the caboclo along the river. Visit to a cassava plantation and community gardens. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we will spend time contemplating the Amazon in a special sensory way by paddling a canoe. Opportunity to photograph beautiful landscapes. Contemplation of Amazonian fauna and flora. We will stimulate our senses and listen to the sound of the jungle. Free evening to enjoy the Lodge and the Lake Tracajá region. Both offer great opportunities to their visitors: quiet waters, starry skies, and a bar with Amazon-flavored drinks. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.
Breakfast, meet with our guide and walk through the jungle with a chance to learn about some medicinal plant species. We will learn more about the native tree of the region, the Seringueira. We will visit the home of an old gum picker. We will observe some latex smoking techniques, and the transformation of latex into natural rubber. Lunch will be served at the Lodge. In the afternoon, opportunity for activities of your choice from those offered by the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and depart for a river trip on the lakes near the lodge, where we will do contemplation of dolphins and the Amazon rainforest. Before leaving the forest we will visit the local community school. Lunch at the lodge and departure for Manaus with arrival scheduled for 5 pm. Arrive in the Ceasa port and embark to begin the Cipiá Indigenous Village experience. Estimated time of arrival at 6:00 pm. Presentation of the tribe. Dinner and overnight in the forest, you will sleep in hammocks listening to the sounds of nature. On this fascinating evening the native will tell the legends and stories of the forest.
Breakfast and trek into the forest, the indigenous guide will take you and explain the forest according to its traditions and culture. Learn about medicinal plants and survival techniques. Typical indigenous lunch with cassava flour and fish or what will be available in the indigenous menu. In the afternoon, piranha fishing and igarapés in a beautiful setting of flooded forests and rivers. Dinner and overnight stay in the community of Cipiá. You will sleep in the maloca, in hammocks, a typical hut built by the indigenous people. The bathroom is outside and shared, a small wooden structure.
In the morning return to indigenous village, breakfast. Excursion to meet the pink dolphins. Dolphins are free and come close to be fed. Return to the village for lunch. Early afternoon the tribe’s shaman will begin rituals, indigenous baptism and ayahuasca. Only those who wish will be able to try this very special experience. Dinner and overnight stay.
